The Women's T20 matches for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will get underway from July 29.
The Women’s T20 will be a part of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games (CWG). The event is scheduled to get underway at the Edgbaston Stadium from July 29, with the bronze and gold medal matches taking place on August 7. India will take on Australia in the inaugural contest with Pakistan taking on Barbados later. Barbados were confirmed as the team from the West Indies that will take part in the Commonwealth Games.
Hosts England will begin their campaign on July 30. They will take on the winner of a qualifying tournament which is due to take place at the start of 2022. England are later scheduled to play South Africa on August 2 and New Zealand on 4th. The much-awaited India vs Pakistan match will take place on July 31 and Australia will also take on Pakistan on August 3.
