Tokyo Olympics 2020 gold medalist Neeraj Chopra is one of the most hard working athletes in India. Recently, the Indian ace Javelin thrower was seen sweating it out in his recent video which he shared on his Twitter account. In an amazing display of wrist strength, Chopra was shown climbing up two ropes and then climbing down in a clip captioned “Rukna nahi hain” in Hindi, which implies “Can’t stop” in English.

Neeraj debuted in the Olympics on 4 August 2021, representing India in the Japan National Stadium at Tokyo 2020.  He had the best throw in his qualifying group, 86.65 metres, which earned him a spot in the final. Chopra’s 87.58m helped him to clinch the gold medal on August 7, thus becoming the first Indian Olympian to win a gold medal in Athletics and the first Indian Olympic medalist in athletics following independence. Since then, Neeraj has been in spotlight and grabbed attention all over the world.

In the men’s javelin throw final in the World Championships 2022 Oregon, Neeraj secured a historic silver medal with a throw of 88.13 meters on his fourth try. After long-jumper Anju Bobby George’s bronze medal in 2003, this was India’s only other medal from the Worlds. Neeraj was also one of the favorites to become the champion of the Commonwealth Games 2022. However, an injury pulled him out of the championship. With a best throw of 88.44m, Neeraj Chopra made a comeback to win the Diamond League 2022 final in Zürich on September 8, 2022 and became the first Indian to win the Diamond League.

Earlier, Neeraj had also shared pictures from his Switzerland trip with his fans. After becoming the champion in Diamond League, he posted on social media platforms regarding the same, informing his fans of his vacation. He even posted about the adventure activities that he performed during his Swiss journey. In 2016, Neeraj came to limelight when he set a world U-20 record in Bydgoszcz to earn India’s first gold medal at the World Athletics U20 Championships. Since then, he has been making waves and there is more to come from the champion athletes.
