The inaugural Paris 2024 Marathon for All is scheduled for the evening of August 10, 2023, just after the men’s Olympic marathon which will be commencing earlier that day. This unusual event, which begins at 9 PM at the Hotel de Ville and ends in Les Invalides, is the first public race to be held during an Olympic or Paralympic Games. Starting at 11:30 PM, participants can pick between two distances: a full marathon for those who are 20 years of age or older, or a 10-kilometer race for those who are 16 years of age or younger. The objective is to include and bring together as many people as possible, with a big finale held at the Esplanade des Invalides.

The Paris 2024 Olympics organizers describe the event as “a majestic setting to heighten the emotions and pride of taking part in an exceptional sporting epic,” with 35,000 participant bibs offered. The Paris 2024 Club, the Marathon pour Tous app, and the @teamorangerunning Instagram account are the places to get these bibs. A sneak peek at the marathon experience will also be offered when 1,000 bibs are given out on June 17 during the Orange relay race.
