Karrion Kross, a former two-time NXT Champion, has said that the prospects he has had in the WWE are insufficient. It would seem odd for a person who frequently appears on SmackDown to be upset about the opportunity WWE has provided him. The Doom Walker asserted that he is frustrated because he hasn’t been able to demonstrate to the audience his full range of abilities.

Kross is not claiming that the Triple H administration hasn’t given him any opportunities. While Kross is grateful for the opportunities the WWE has provided him since his comeback, he admitted that they are insufficient to win people over. The Doom Walker openly expressed his dissatisfaction with his present status in WWE in a conversation with Josh Martinez of Superstar Crossover.

‘I actually get really p**sed’

“This is probably unhealthy, and I shouldn’t say it, but I’m just going to say it. I actually get really p**sed because it’s not enough. It’s not enough. I haven’t reached my full potential yet, and people haven’t seen my best work yet. I know what I can do, and at this level, you need to be afforded certain types of opportunities, which is difficult with a big roster and only two hours of the program,” Kross said.

“And I know that once I am afforded that particular shot — because I’ve been afforded a lot, let’s not get it twisted — once I am afforded that particularly shot to demonstrate what I can really do, what I’ve done where people on a major scale haven’t seen it? People are gonna be blown away. And I’m gonna fight for that every single week, to get closer and closer to that shot. And I’m being straight with you, I’m being very real.” he continued.

Grateful for prior opportunities

Karrion Kross stated that he would improve himself in order to achieve the top of the WWE ladder. The 37-year-old SmackDown star wanted to avoid appearing ungracious for the prospects he’d been given. Within the same discussion, Karrion Kross stated that he is confident that when he receives the opportunity to demonstrate what he is capable of on a larger scale, people will be blown away.

‘I need time to romance the audience’

“I think you’re gonna be able to expect compelling storytelling. If I am granted and allotted the time to romance the audience and ‘Shakespeare’ them into what it is that I am very good at doing, which is laying down the foundations of eliciting an emotional response to get people interested in what we’re doing? You’re gonna see some great storytelling. And one of my jobs that I have kind of given to myself is to help fans see different layers of people that maybe they haven’t seen before that I’m gonna be working with.

“I like to put people in different situations and circumstances that perhaps they hadn’t been in prior to working with me. So that’s what they’re gonna get. Once I am afforded that particularly shot to demonstrate what I can really do, what I’ve done where people on a major scale haven’t seen it? People are going to be blown away. And I’m going to fight for that every single week, to get closer and closer to that shot,” he continued.

Since his comeback to WWE in August 2022, Karrion Kross has primarily fought against former champion Drew McIntyre and illustrious wrestler Rey Mysterio. It is unknown if The Doom Walker will renew his conflict with Mysterio or take on another challenger on WWE television.
