Jorge Luis Alcantar Bolly, also known as Santos Escobar is a Mexican wrestler born on January 30, 1984, in Mexico City. Escobar was exposed to the world of professional wrestling at an early age thanks to his family’s deep involvement in the sport. Escobar’s father Jorge Luis Alcantar was a professional wrestler by the name of El Fantasma. While his uncle went by the name “Angel de la Muerte”.

Jorge Luis Alcantar Bolly worked for numerous promotions like the CMLL, and Lucha Libre AAA with the International Wrestling Revolution Group being the stage for his debut. Alcantar Made his debut in the year 2000 under the name, Top Secret. Later in 2003 he adopted the name of El Hijo del Fantasma and had his first documented fight against the Los Oficiales in the IWRG.

El Hijo del Fantasma then went on to win the finals, becoming the Cruiserweight Champion for the first time while winning his first championship in WWE. El Hijo would then group up with Raul Mendoza and Joaquin WIlde and attack Maverick, an incident that would lead him to unmask himself and adopt the name Santos Escobar establishing himself as a heel. Escobar entered his first Royal Rumble on January 28, 2023, only to be eliminated by Brock Lesnar. Santos Escobar would go on to aid Rey Mysterio by aiding him in a feud against his son as well as The Judgement Day, this would mark Escobar’s journey from being a heel to a face.
