During the electrifying Night One of WWE WrestleMania 40, fans witnessed the highly anticipated return of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to the squared circle, teaming up with Roman Reigns to form The Bloodline against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event.

Following the blockbuster match, WWE Chief Creative Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque shared his insights during the post-WrestleMania media scrum, highlighting what impressed him the most about The Rock’s comeback performance.

Triple H’s admiration for The Rock’s return extended beyond his physical prowess, focusing instead on The Great One’s remarkable composure and presence in the ring.

“It wouldn’t be the physical part,” Triple H began. “He loves this and he’s going to throw caution to the wind and it’s going to be amazing and he’s going to go all out. When you’ve done this a long time, and you’re around it every day like that, you see composure in people that I can spot it in people now, it’s my job to spot it in people now to some degree now.”

Triple H was happy seeing The Rock “calm” at all time

Triple H elaborated on The Rock’s calm demeanor and ability to remain in the moment, despite the adrenaline rush and pressure of performing in front of a live audience.

“The most impressive thing to me was his composure and his being in the moment, and his feel. I could see him feeling everything that was happening, I could see it resonating in him and I could see his composure,” Triple H remarked. “When you haven’t done this for awhile and adrenaline hits you and you’re in front of all those people, and you’re zoned in, it moves fast, and you move fast with it, and you think you’re not but you are, and it’s the thing that you see stars have been doing this a long time that have really gotten to that next level. There is a calm. He was calm.”

Despite his extended absence from in-ring competition, The Rock’s composed demeanor and mastery of the moment left a lasting impression on Triple H and fans alike.

The Rock’s return at WrestleMania 40 showcased not only his enduring star power but also his unmatched ability to command the ring with confidence and poise, solidifying his status as one of the greatest performers in WWE history.
