The Undertaker

A 9-month rivalry that catapulted Randy Orton to new heights! Randy’s first singles match at WrestleMania came against The Deadman at the 21st edition of WWE’s biggest pay-per-view.

Orton was likely the first person to bring up The Undertaker‘s WrestleMania streak, making their encounter even more memorable. Throughout their illustrious rivalry, The Viper and The Phenom battled toe-to-toe multiple times, even going as far as a casket match, with Randy and Bob Orton beating The Deadman in a casket match. The Ortons did not accept defeat and set fire to the casket!

This battle was given a personal twist because no championship was ever at stake throughout their lengthy feud.

The Phenom has had run-ins with many of the industry’s biggest names, but his legendary fight with The Viper stands out.

John Cena

John Cena and Randy Orton have clashed so many times on PPVs that the WWE Universe has lost track. John Cena and Randy Orton are the breakout stars of their time, and their accomplishments are incredible.

There have been 29 world title reigns between them. That is a pretty enormous amount! It is safe to argue that Cena and Orton have made significant contributions to each other’s careers.

The iconic wrestlers have been through hell with each other, from their epic iron man bout to the historic world title unification match. Orton and Cena have unrivalled in-ring chemistry, which they have demonstrated in multi-man bouts, and are widely regarded as one of the best modern-day rivalries.

Triple H

The Orton vs. Triple H feud is loaded with notable fights and is widely regarded as one of the best rivalries of the twentieth century. What began as a powerful clique quickly turned sour when Randy became the WWE’s youngest champion.

The Game walked away from Orton, and the rest, as they say, is history. Since then, the two have clashed countless times, and their rivalry has been nothing short of personal.

In 2009, Orton notoriously assaulted the whole McMahon family, including Triple H’s wife Stephanie, Hunter’s father-in-law Vince, and Shane, Hunter’s brother-in-law. The Game went one step further and launched an all-out assault on Orton’s home, where he demolished his house with a sledgehammer in an attempt to destroy The Viper.

The former comrades went on to headline WrestleMania, where they faced off for the WWE title. Triple H defended his championship in a fantastic match that had the spectators on their wits.
