Mercedes Monet, formerly known as Sasha Banks, is set to make her NJPW debut in a few days. She made her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom on January 4 after being released from WWE non-competition in January after IWGP Women’s Champion Kairi retained the title and attacked the former WWE star. Monet will take on KAIRI this Saturday at the NJPW Battle in the Valley in San Jose. This is one of two Main Event her builds. Mone shared an emotional video on her Twitter to promote her return to the ring, as seen below. She also shared behind-the-scenes footage of her NJPW debut.
“Oh, I can’t believe how many people have supported me with this. I’m so happy. I’ve never been happier,” Banks said, crying in the video. Stratus commented Among the many names played, the 47-year-old legend chose Mercedes Monet as his opponent. It’s hard to imagine this exciting fight happening now that Monet is in her NJPW. However, this is not excluded either. She retired from in-ring competition in her 2006 but made a brief return during her PG days, most notably at WrestleMania 27.

She called the current SmackDown Women’s Champion “dominant” and RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Blair “pure 100% athleticism and heart”. Zelina Vega recalled the first time she met Trish Stratus. Cardona once said he was one of WWE’s most popular acts, much of it from his YouTube channel. Cardona has held multiple championship gold medals in his WWE and has won both the United States and Intercontinental championships in addition to his two reigns in his tag team championships. Cardona said he was released by WWE in 2020, but his level of success has not declined since winning the GCW and his NWA World Heavyweight Championship. As he said in an interview, Cardona also recently became the first-ever Chris Jericho Cruise Oceanic Champion.
Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber PLE in Montreal, Canada later this month. Zayn is a huge fan favorite. Many are hoping he will eventually beat Reigns, but that is highly unlikely, especially with WWE setting up a Reigns vs. Rhodes match at WrestleMania 39. It seems that. Sami Zayn is reportedly planning to team up with Kevin Owens to take on The Usos for the tag team titles at WrestleMania 39.
