Logan Paul stunned the world by returning to WWE this past Saturday at the Royal Rumble, despite rumors of a major injury sustained during his fight with Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel. Despite delivering one of the night’s most memorable performances on Saturday, Paul’s return to WWE might face a huge setback, according to what the American media figure said on social media today.

With the caption “major announcement tomorrow,” Paul tagged UFC President Dana White in a tweet that included a video montage hinting at his interest in a UFC bout. The video displayed several clips of Paul talking about one day going into an octagon, something Logan and his brother Jake have been extremely outspoken about, with Jake Paul getting a lucrative agreement with the Pro Fight League to pursue that ambition in Mixed Martial Arts.

Logan Paul may fight Seth Rollins

The news that Paul is considering a bout in the UFC might throw a significant kink in WWE’s plans with Paul, as the promotion appeared to be headed down the route of a Seth Rollins match at WrestleMania 39 in April. The UFC often plans fights many months in advance, making it tough to imagine the 27-year-old performing both MMA and wrestling in such a short amount of time. Following Paul’s surprise elimination of Rollins in the Rumble fight, many speculated that one of the marquee matchups at SoFi Stadium would be between the two.

The clip ended with Paul stating to White, “I want Paddy Pimblett,” implying he’d like to battle the UFC lightweight. Paul’s significant announcement will be made tomorrow on his social media account. Pimblett’s name is also familiar to wrestling fans since he is the UFC fighter that had a verbal spat with AEW World Champion MJF, who even attended his fight at UFC 282.

Rollins declines to discuss Paul on WWE RAW

Rollins, a performer with a literal call-and-response theme, likes to chat to the crowd, his in-ring opponents, and backstage interviewers, describing his objectives, difficulties, desires, and aspirations. But, in the aftermath of the Royal Rumble, one guy “The Visionary” didn’t want to talk about was Logan Paul, the man who eliminated him at WWE Royal Rumble 2023.

That’s right, after greeting Cathy Kelley and discussing his victory over Chad Gable in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match, the former and current interviewer asked Rollins if he had anything to say about the older Paul Brother, and he just sort of… clammed up before awkwardly walking away and out of camera range.
