Since his time working with Jason Jordan in “NXT,” Chad Gable has consistently been able to carve out a place for himself within the WWE universe. But “Road Dogg” Jesse James claims that as a performer, “the sky is the limit.” His transition from Shorty G territory into his new character, which he created with Otis to form Alpha Academy, has allowed him to display his personality and charm. His “Shoosh” catchphrase has done incredibly well with the WWE Universe in a short period of time.

“He’s an entertaining dude, and he’s got some character, and him and Otis — they’re fun,” James said on the “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast. “I feel the same way about them as I do about Dolph. When they come out, I know I am going to be entertained with a great wrestling match. Otis is going to make some faces that are going to make me laugh. He’s going to blow up and fall down on somebody … it’s fun to watch those guys.”

Due to his actual amateur wrestling history, Chad Gable has always relied heavily on these skills when performing in the ring. Although James has always found that to be impressive, he also believes that “we haven’t seen what’s best in him yet. He’s the right human being. He’s the right kind of athlete. He’s a role model, I can’t speak the guy’s praises and sing his praises from the mountain top enough,” he said. “He is just that kind of dude.”

Road Dogg rips “Disrespectful” crowd chant

Fan shouts are nothing new, but they may be annoying at times. Wrestlers will sometimes try to ignore the chanting and go about their business. Wrestlers, on the other hand, can’t help but respond to constant fan chanting, either positively or adversely.

Examples include The Undertaker‘s smart retort to relentless ‘WHAT’ shouts and how wrestlers and analysts reacted to the numerous audience chants in New Jersey following WrestleMania XXIX.

Road Dogg, who has experience dealing with raucous audiences, shared his opinion on another chant that has endured for many years on his Oh You Didn’t Know Podcast.

Road Dogg specifically addressed the CM Punk chants, which persisted for years after CM Punk departed WWE and well before he appeared for AEW. While the slogans didn’t disturb him, he couldn’t say the same for his colleagues.

“Sometimes the boys do. Sometimes the guys are in there busting their tail and the fans want to hijack the show or whatever to show their – let their voice be heard. It’s always very disrespectful for the same people they supposedly love and so avidly support.”
