Liv Morgan's run as champion is ended by Ronda Rousey on WWE Extreme Rules 2022

At Extreme Rules 2022, Liv Morgan could just smile but couldn't to overcome the beat down from the "baddest woman in the planet".

Since Morgan stole the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Ronda Rousey and engaged in a long-running rivalry with her, Liv Morgan has felt insulted throughout her reign. It definitely didn’t help that I was placed second in the lineup for Extreme Rules on October 8 in Philadelphia.

That was even more apparent in their Extreme Rules contest. Rousey aimed to demonstrate that she didn’t need any weaponry, as she had said she would during the build. As she presided over the activity in the beginning, she also prevented the champ from approaching them. Morgan eventually managed to locate a fire extinguisher.

But even a shot of freezing foam in the face couldn’t halt Ronda’s onslaught, which resulted in a scene in which she beat Liv with a baseball bat and lashed her with a judo belt. After sending Rousey through a table with a senton off the top, Morgan rallied back and appeared to be planning another upset. Rowdy could only be knocked out for three times with that and a powerbomb to the wrecked table. Ronda demonstrated her ability to submit in the ensuing melee. Liv smiled as she fell asleep, didn’t tap, and even did so. She yet fell short.

Several mistakes were made, and Morgan’s chair attack during her return was an especially low point. It also had the unfortunate timing of coming after Sheamus & GUNTHER’s most recent smash (Brawling Brute’s victory against Imperium in a Donnybrook at the start of the program). However, it was interesting since the title changed. Ronda Rousey demonstrated Liv’s shortcomings, and she is now the reigning SmackDown Women’s champion twice.
