John Felix Anthony Cena jr., better known as John Cena, is an American professional wrestler, actor, and former rapper who was born on April 23, 1977. He is widely considered to be one of the best professional wrestlers of all time, and he holds the record for the most world title reigns in professional wrestling history. Cena was born and raised in West Newbury, Massachusetts and wanted to be a professional bodybuilder but life had different plans for him and now he is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever keep their foot in the ring. Also, he is one hell of a talker as well.

He is the grandchild of baseball superstar Tony Lupien and is of Italian, French-Canadian, and English ancestry (father). Cena used to play football in college. He went on to work as a bodybuilder and limousine driver. The Dr. of Thuganomics began wrestling training at Ultimate Pro Wrestling, where he also established the persona The Prototype.
