The Women’s U17 European Volleyball Championship will be held in 2023 for the fourth time and will once again be hosted by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), which represents the girls’ under-17 national teams of Europe. Between July 11 and July 22, 2023, the contest will be held in Serbia and Hungary. The procedures used to conduct the National Federations’ lot drawing and seeding are listed below. The two coordinators received seeds in the opening pools. Pool I is for Serbia, and Pool 2 is for Hungary. The remaining 14 teams were drawn after they were divided into five cups according to their placement in the most recent European Ranking. The qualifying rounds for the U17 European Championship in 2023 have ended for both the men’s and women’s divisions. Bulgaria, Greece, and Romania have qualified for the U17 European Championship Final Round of 2023 while Turkey, Serbia, and Greece have done the same for the women. The Final Round, which will be held in Serbia and Hungary as co-host countries from July 11 to July 22, was previously open to women’s competitors Turkey and Serbia (the competition’s host).
The sport’s governing body, the CEV, is holding a fantastic international competition that will include the top teams from around the globe. The CEV Women’s U17 European Volleyball Championship 2023 will feature a match between Turkey and Greece on July 11 of that year. In this competition, there are two excellent teams. Greece was not a part of the 2022 CEV Women’s U17 European Volleyball Championship, where Turkey finished second. To win the table, both teams are in competition.
In this, there will be 16 participants per gender. Twelve teams had previously participated in the semifinal rounds of the competition. The outcomes of four zonal association qualifiers, one for each gender, will decide the first four teams to ensure their presence in addition to the organizing nations. Poland has already claimed the spots reserved for Eevza in both the men’s and women’s editions at the qualifying competitions held in December in Georgia and Latvia, respectively. In January, the qualifying rounds for the other three zonal associations will be organized. From January 4 to January 8, Grunheide will host the Wevza competitors for the U17 women’s finals. Germany and Belgium, who are the hosts, are among them, as are England, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain.
