The European Volleyball Confederation, which is in charge of the European volleyball competitions, is preparing for the grand unveiling of the 33rd installment of the Women’s European Volleyball Championship. The event is scheduled to take place from August 15 through September 3, 2023. A total of 24 nations are set to lock horns on the court, striving to assert their prowess.
Belgium, Estonia, Germany, and Italy have been honored with the responsibility of hosting the continental event. In the previous championship held in 2021, Italy stood out by claiming the highly esteemed trophy, as they beat Serbia in an impressive 3-1 match victory. On August 21, 2023, Spain will take on Finland in a Pool D preliminary match at the CEV Women’s EuroVolley 2023.
