Every two years, the European Volleyball Confederation, which is in charge of national teams on the continent with players under the age of 17, hosts the European Men’s U-17 Volleyball Championship. The competition, which will take place in Podgorica from July 19 to July 30, is greatly anticipated by the Montenegrin volleyball community. A week or so before the competition began, the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro’s (OSCG) Secretary General, Ivan Bokovi, addressed the media at a news conference held at the Voco hotel.
Due to the excellent organization of the U17 Women’s competition held here in 2020, the European Volleyball Confederation has assigned our federation responsibility for the continental championship for young male players under the age of 17. They are executing this work with great honor and accountability. The Montenegrin Volleyball Federation has once more received plaudits from the CEV for its earlier exploits.
In the match for the CEV U17 Volleyball European Championship on Monday, Serbia and Finland will square off. The success of both teams will differ depending on the outcome of the game. Before Monday’s encounter, Finland had previously suffered a humiliating defeat to Italy (0-3) in that matchup. Serbia, however, just crushed the Czech Republic decisively (3-0). Finland will be driven to get revenge on Serbia in their contest.
In Podgorica, the Montenegrin capital, and at the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro, the top 16 teams from Europe with athletes born in 2007 or younger will face off. In Podgorica and Montenegro, in addition to the host Montenegro, volleyball fans and observers will have the chance to watch teams from Italy, France, Poland, the Netherlands, Serbia, and other volleyball powerhouses. There will be sixteen participating nations. By hosting this European Championship, the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro has given our young athletes the chance to take part in a prestigious competition and gain experience representing their country in the European arena. The new structure, which splits the 16 national teams into two groups, is being used for the first time at the U17 European Championship in Podgorica. Planning requires a lot of work.

EuroVolley.tv typically provides live updates and coverage of any significant volleyball competition taking place in Europe. It won’t affect the CEV U 17 in any way. All volleyball matches are broadcast live on Euro Volley TV, a network similar to OTT with a niche viewership. They have options for subscriptions on their main website. It has been reported that a CEV YouTube channel will also host the program.
