When the FIVB announced the hosts for its four Age Group World Championships on January 24, 2023, Argentina was chosen to host the 2023 Boys’ U19 World Championship.

Argentina will serve as the event’s host country on December 20, 2022, according to the Argentine Volleyball Federation. The FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship will be held in Argentina for a third time; it was previously held there in 2011 and 2015. On August 5, 2023, Serbia and Costa Rica will square off in a preliminary game at the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship.
