The knockout stage of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2023 is underway in Gdansk, Poland, from July 19 to 23, following the exciting finale of the Women’s Nations League where Turkey emerged as the ultimate champion. The Ergo Arena in Gdansk will be hosting the semi-finals of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s Nations League 2023. In the semi-final one on July 22, Japan will take on Poland, while the semi-final two will witness an electrifying clash between the USA and Italy.
During the preliminary phase of the Men’s Volleyball Nations League 2023 (VNL), Japan clinched the second position with an impressive record of ten victories, accumulating 27 points. Throughout their initial ten matches, Japan remained unbeaten, but their winning streak was halted by defeats against Italy and Poland in the later games. Meanwhile, Poland secured the third spot with a total of 25 points, experiencing setbacks in matches against Serbia and the United States.
