The FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship 2023 is underway from August 2 and will run until August 11, 2023, in San Juan, Argentina. A total of 20 teams marked their participation in the contest. The knockout phase is now taking place in the event in which the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and finals will determine the outcome of the prestigious competition. The last edition of the competition, i.e. 2021, saw Poland winning the title.
Iran will take on Belgium in a thrilling quarter-final clash at the FIVB Volleyball Boys’ U19 World Championship 2023. Iran reached the quarters after defeating Serbia in a close contest which ended in their favor by 3-2. On the other hand, Belgium got the better of Slovenia in their Round of 16 clash and made it to the quarter-final. Iran’s best finish in the history of the competition was when they became the champions in 2007 and 2017. While Belgium’s best placement came in 2007 when they placed sixth.
