The highly awaited FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2023 is slated to take place from May 30 to July 16, 2023. The tournament will be a battleground for 16 teams from four different confederations, all with their sights set on the esteemed championship title. The mainstay teams in the tournament are Brazil, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, and the United States, with Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, the Dominican Republic, and Poland joining the fray as challenger teams.
The 2023 Women’s Nations League will be divided into four crucial stages, starting with three weeks of intense competition. Following these preliminary rounds, the top eight teams, based on their standings, will proceed to the final round. This decisive stage of the tournament will see these eight teams battling it out in a knockout format. The culmination of the tournament will comprise eight matches in total, including four quarterfinals, two semifinals, and the bronze and gold medal matches. The finals’ host nation, along with the seven best-performing teams in the tournament, will fight for the coveted medals.

Last year, Germany ended their campaign with a tenth place finish. This time they will aim to do better than their previous edition as they face the 27th ranked European team. Croatia made their place at the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2023 by winning the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Challenger Cup 2022.
