From May 30 to July 16, 2023, the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League is scheduled to take place. The competition will feature 16 teams from four different confederations that are vying for the prestigious championship title. Brazil, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Serbia, South Korea, Thailand, Turkey, and the United States are among the key competitors. Challenger teams from Poland, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Bulgaria, and Canada will join them.
The first four stages of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2023 consist of three weeks of intense competition. The elite eight teams at the top of the leaderboard after the preliminary rounds advance to the final round. These eight teams are involved in a knockout phase during this last stage of the competition.
A total of eight matches, including four quarterfinals, two semifinals, and the gold- and bronze-medal matches, will be played during the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League finals in 2023. These coveted medals will be up for grabs, and the top seven teams and the host nation for the finals will be given the chance to compete.
At the FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League 2023, Croatia and Brazil will square off on June 4th. Brazil, the core team, will face the challenger team, Croatia, in this matchup. Brazil was the runner-up in the competition in the last edition after losing to Italy. As Brazil will take on the 27th-ranked European team, they will try to outperform their performance from the previous season to win the championship.
