Frevola Targets Chandler for MSG Fight, Calls McGregor 'Juiced to the Gills'

Matt Frevola is the latest UFC lightweight to call out Michael Chandler. Frevola, who is currently on a three-fight knockout streak, believes that Chandler will not fight Conor McGregor and is instead looking for a new opponent.
“McGregor ain’t fighting,” Frevola said in a video posted on Twitter. “Dude’s juiced to the gills, cooked up, beating up girls. Michael Chandler, you can keep dreaming because you’re not fighting. But guess who you can fight at MSG(Madison Square Garden)? You can take your steamrolling like a man. I’ll give you a glorious death in the arena. Just what every gladiator wants, and I’ll give that to you. MSG, baby. I’ll see you soon. See you at the top.”

Frevola is not the only one who is interested in fighting Chandler. Grant Dawson and Arman Tsarukyan have also been calling for a fight with the former Bellator champion. Chandler has said that he is willing to fight any of the top lightweights, but it remains to be seen who he will face next.
With McGregor’s status up in the air, Chandler could be looking for a fight sooner rather than later. Frevola would be a tough test for Chandler, but it would also be a high-profile fight for both men. Although it is not certain whether the UFC will schedule this match, it is absolutely a possibility.
Frevola is currently ranked No. 15 in the UFC lightweight rankings, while Chandler is ranked No. 5. Frevola would have a huge challenge if the two engaged in combat, but he has already proven that he is capable of battling against the best in the category.
If the UFC does decide to schedule this bout, it will probably happen in November at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Frevola is eager to fight Chandler and believes that he can beat him. “I’m going to steamroll him,” Frevola said. “I’m going to give him a glorious death in the arena.”
