Yannick Hanfmann is a German tennis player born on 13 November 1991 and his highest ranking to this date by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) is World No. 92 in singles. He achieved this feat on May 2021 and despite being haring-impaired, he has one of the best downstrokes in the world with a great variety of powerful serves in his bag as well.
He made it to his major ATP debut at the 2017 BMW Open beating the likes of Arthur De Greef, Uladzimir Ignatik, Gerald Melzer, and Thomaz Bellucci to reach the quarterfinals but eventually lost to Roberto Bautista Agut. He made his first ATP final appearance at the 2017 Swiss Open but despite some scintillating displays in the entire tournament, he lost the title to Fabio Fognini.
Hanfmann made it to his second final at the 2020 Generali Open in Austria but yet again ended up on the losing side this time losing to Miomir Kecmanovic. He made his Grand Slam debut at the 2021 Australian Open but his first win at the Slams came in the next year at Australia.
