4th seed Taylor Fritz hasn’t been in good touch lately and has been losing all the recent tournaments he has played in. He will be adamant to make a change in fortune and perform well at the ongoing Indian Wells Masters. He couldn’t make it past the second stage mark in any of his last tournaments, losing to Shopavalov at the Vienna Open, to Gilles Simon at the Paris Masters, and to Poyrin at the Australian Open. At the ATP World Tour Finals, he beat Auger-Alliassime and Nadal to make it to the semis only to lose to Djokovic. At the Dallas Open, he made it to the semi-finals where he lost to Wu Yibing, and right after that, he lifted the Delray Beach Open beating the likes of Kecmanovic, McDonald, Mannarino, and Gomez on the way. In the ongoing Indian Wells, he beat Shelton in the first-round matchup by 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, and in the round of 32 matchup, he beat Baez by 6-1, 6-2. He beat Fucsovics in the last-round matchup by 6-4, 6-3.
Jannik Sinner has been in stellar form for the past few months and he will be adamant to perform well in the Indian Wells Masters as well. In his last tournament, which was the Open Sud De France he lifted the trophy beating players such as Cressy, Fils, Sonego, and Fucsovics. At the Australian Open, he made it to the fourth round losing to Tsitsipas in what was a five-set thriller. At the Paris Masters, he couldn’t make it past the first stage mark, and at the Vienna Open, he lost to Medvedev in the quarter-finals after picking up crucial wins against Garin and Francisco Cerundolo. At the Rotterdam Open, he made it to the finals losing to Medvedev after beating the likes of Bonzi, Tsitsipas, Stanislas Wawrinka, and Griekspoor. In the ongoing Indian Wells, he beat Gasquet in the first-round matchup by 6-3, 7-6 and in the round of 32 matchup, he beat Mannarino by 7-6, 6-4. He beat Wawrinka in the last-round matchup by 6-1, 6-4.
