Fourth seed Ramos-Vinolas played out a thriller at the Roy Emerson Court on Thursday against Nicolas Jarry. The Spaniard won 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 7-6 (10-8) to advance to the semi-finals of the competition. Ramos-Vinolas hit nine aces and won one out of 12 break points. His win percentages on the first and second serves were 71% and 82% respectively.
Casper Ruud and Albert Ramos-Vinolas will take on each other on Saturday, July 23 in the semi-final of the 2022 Swiss Open. The competition is scheduled to commence on July 17 and conclude on July 23 this year.
