Cameron Norrie hasn’t been in great form recently and looks to start the year on a high. He hasn’t made it to the later stages of any of the major tournaments he has played in the last couple of months. He lost to Giron in the Vienna Open in the second round after winning the first match against Cachín. In the next tournament which was the Paris Masters, he got knocked out right in the round of 32 stage to Moutet after the first-round victory against Kecmanović while at the Stockholm Open as he lost to Rune in the quarter-finals. In the ASB Classic, he lost to Gasquet in the finals after beating the likes of Jiri Lehecka, Brooksby, and Giron on the way.
Luca Van Assche is a youngster making his way into the professional games but hasn’t found the form yet in recent months. He looks to start the year on a high and has failed to make it to the later stages of any of the major tournaments he has played in the last couple of months. He lost to Coria at the ASB Classic in the qualifiers and in the next tournament which was the Challenger Canberra, he lost to Watanuki in the round of 32 stage. He won the Challenger Maia beating the likes of Neuchrist, Gakhov, Lazarov, Vukic, and Ymer.
