Sixth seed Andy Murray will take on unseeded American player Sam Querrey in the round of 32 of the 2022 ATP Hall of Fame Open.
ATP tennis players will compete in the 2022 Hall of Fame Open on outdoor grass courts. Part of the 250 series of the 2022 ATP Tour, it will be the 45th iteration of the competition. From July 10 to July 17, 2022, it will be held in the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, in the United States. On the now-famous grass courts of the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island, the first US National Lawn Tennis Championship was played in 1881 which later evolved into the US Open. The only professional grass tournament held outside of Europe, right now, is the Hall of Fame Open. The likes of Felix Auger-Aliassime and Andy Murray will be a part of the grass-court tournament.
Sixth seed Andy Murray will take on unseeded American player Sam Querrey in the round of 32 of the 2022 ATP Hall of Fame Open. Murray has been on a decent run of form this season but is yet to record a tournament victory so far. For Querrey, beating a former world no. 1 would shoot him to the spotlight of world tennis and could be quite beneficial to his career.
Andy Murray and Sam Querrey will take on each other on Tuesday, July 12 in the round of 32 of the 2022 ATP Hall of Fame Open. The competition is scheduled to commence on July 11 and conclude on July 17 this year.
