Seeded 20th Roberto Bautista Agut hasn’t made it to the later stages of any of the last tournaments he has played and he will be to end his woeful run by making a change in fortune at the Madrid Open. He couldn’t make it past the first stage mark in most of his last tournaments, losing to Fils at the Open Sud De France, to Halys at the Estoril Open, to Hurkacz at the Rotterdam Open, and to Ruusuvuori at the Indian Wells Masters.
