At the Manama Challenger, he shocked the entire tennis world by lifting the title after going past players like Shelbayh, Struff, Bublik, Popyrin, Muller, and Erel. At the Indian Wells, he lost to the eventual champion, Alcaraz right in the round of 64 stage. In the ongoing Miami Open, he beat Collarini in the first qualifier by 4-6, 6-3, 7-6, and Paire in the second qualifier by 4-6, 6-4, 5-7. In the last round, he beat Bergs by 6-3, 6-3.
