10th seed Cameron Norrie has been a major threat to every opponent in the last few months as he has been in scintillating form. After missing out on the title at the Argentina Open losing to Alcaraz in the final, he will be absolutely desperate to clinch the ongoing Indian Wells Masters title. He couldn’t make it past the third round at the Australian Open losing to Lehecka and at the ASB Classic, he again missed out on a well-deserved title as he was beaten by Gasquet in the final. At the Paris Masters, he was knocked out by Moutet at the round of 32 stage and at Vienna Open, he lost to Giron at the round of 16 stage. He recently won the Rio Open by beating the young prospect Alcaraz in the final. In the ongoing Indian Wells, he beat Wu in the first-round matchup by 2-6, 4-6, and in the round of 32 matchup, he beat Daniel by 7-6, 5-7, 2-6.
Andrey Rublev hasn’t been in good touch lately and has been losing all the recent tournaments he has played in. He will be adamant to make a change in fortune and perform well at the Rotterdam Open. He couldn’t make it past the first stage mark in most of his last tournaments, losing to Kokkinakis at the Adelaide International 2, and to Fritz at the Cincinnati Masters in the second round. He made it to the quarter-finals of the Australian Open thereby losing to Djokovic after beating the likes of Rune, Evans, Ruusuvuori, and Thiem. His bad form continued as he got knocked out from the Paris Masters and Vienna Open at the round of 16 stage on both occasions. In the ongoing Indian Wells, he beat Lehecka in the round of 64 stage by 6-4, 6-2, and in the round of 32 matchup, he beat Humbert by 7-5, 6-3.
