Luca Brecel is one of the most popular Snooker Players from Belgium. On May 24, 2010, after defeating Bjorn Hanseveer 7-4, Luca Brecel won the senior snooker championship in Belgium. After the first two sessions, he was down O’Sullivan by a score of 6-10, but he won all seven frames in the third session to take the match 13-10. Later, O’Sullivan expressed his desire for Brecel to win the competition. Early in the third session of the semi-final, he was down 5-14 to Si Jiahui. However, Brecel won eleven straight frames to take the lead at 16-14 and go on to win the match 17-15.

He competed against four-time champion Mark Selby in the final. Brecel led 6-2 after the first session before seeing his advantage reduced to 9-8 in the second. He went on to win six of the eight frames in the third session to take a 15-10 lead. Selby cut the deficit in half in the final session, winning 16–15, but Brecel ultimately prevailed 18–15 to win the title of world champion. Luca Brecel has been chosen by Cazoo to represent the company’s brand. In 2018, Alex Chesterman established Cazoo, an English company selling cars online with its headquarters in London.
