Samoa vs Sri Lanka: Commonwealth Games, Rugby Sevens, Group A will be held on July 30. Following the publication of the pools, Birmingham 2022 has now revealed the rugby sevens competition’s match schedule, which will take place at Coventry Stadium from July 29 to July 31. New Zealand, which won the gold medal at the 2018 Gold Coast Games, will play Sri Lanka in their opening match in the men’s tournament and Canada in the women’s. They will face Samoa (men) and Sri Lanka in the day’s second session (women). The opening day’s matches for England’s men will feature contests against Samoa and Sri Lanka, with the pivotal match versus New Zealand scheduled for Saturday, July 30,’s morning session.
The women’s team will also play Sri Lanka on the opening day. On July 29, they will play Canada in the second session, and on August 1, they will play New Zealand. Men’s and women’s first matches for Scotland are against Tonga and Fiji, respectively. On July 29, the ladies will also play Australia, and the men will play Malaysia. Wales, which is only involved in the men’s competition, will start the tournament against Canada and Zambia before facing two-time Olympic champions Fiji the following day.

The women’s team from Australia, who took second place in the first championship held on the Gold Coast in 2018, will play South Africa in their opening match before taking on Fiji in the morning session of July 30.
