Máté Lékai was born on 16 June 1988. Mate Lekai is a noted handball player from Hungary who plays for Ferencvárosi TC and is a member of the Hungarian national team. He is the offspring of Olga Juha, a former high jumper hailing from Hungary. Olga set her all-time best at 1.97 meters in London in August 1983, and she clinched the national high jump title in Hungary in 1984 and again in 1987. Lekai made his debut on the international stage at the World Championship in 2011, with the Hungarian team finishing in the seventh spot. He later narrowly missed the podium, securing fourth place at the 2012 Summer Olympics with his national team.
In 2005, he received the title of Teenager Player of the Year and was later awarded the Silver Cross of the Republic of Hungary in recognition of his sporting achievements. Instituted in 1991, the Hungarian Order of Merit, which established this award, stands as one of the most prestigious recognitions in the country, following its earlier version that existed between 1922 to 1946. Lekai was the captain of Telekom Veszprém but suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury during a match against PGE Vive Kielce in 2019.
This forced him to miss many games in the first part of the season. Before parting ways with Telekom Veszprém in June 2023, Lekai had an impressive run, having joined RK Celje Pivovarna Lako in 2014. During his time with Veszprém, he won four Hungarian Championships and six Cup titles. Before Veszprém, his career included playing for teams like Pick Szeged and PLER. Lekai found his playing time reduced with the arrival of new talents such as Nenadić, Lauge, and Egypt’s El Deraa, prompting changes in the team’s lineup.

Ramóna Lékai-Kiss was born on 2, 1984. Ramóna, a celebrated Hungarian actress and TV host, attended István Báthory Primary School in Veszprém before completing her higher education in economics at the University of Pécs and then studying commerce and marketing at Károly Róbert College. She gained fame for her portrayal of Zsófia Szentmihályi on the popular show ‘Friends’ from 2002 to 2017 and briefly in 2018.
Besides acting, she has hosted several television shows, including the fifth season of ‘I’m a Celeb, Get Me Out of Here’ on RTL Klub, and served as a presenter for ‘Breakfast’ and ‘X-Faktor’ seasons in 2020, 2021, and 2022. More recently, she is co-hosting ‘Dancing with the Stars’ on TV2 with András Stohl.
