Asian Para Games 2022: How to watch, nations participating, schedule, and more?

Originally, the Asian Para Games 2022 were set to take place between October 9 and 15, 2022. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dates were shifted to 2023.

The Asian Para Games 2022 is all set to be held from October 22 to October 28, 2023, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. Hangzhou is the second city in China to host the prestigious event, following Guangzhou’s host in 2010. The edition marks the fourth time the Asian Para Games will be taking place. With participation from 42 National Paralympic Committees (NPCs), the event is set to witness around 4,000 athletes.

Originally, the Asian Para Games 2022 were set to take place between October 9 and 15, 2022. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the dates were shifted to 2023. The event kicked off with a grand inauguration on October 22 at the Hangzhou Sports Park Stadium. The sports persons will compete in a total of 566 gold medals in 22 sports disciplines. This edition of the Asian Para Games 2022 introduces three new sports – Taekwondo, Canoeing, and Go.
