The European Shotgun Championships 2023 is all set to be hosted at the Olympic Shooting Range PAMPAS in Osijek, Croatia, from September 8 to September 27, 2023. Each country’s team, which is part of the European Shooting Confederation (ESC), can bring a maximum of five athletes for individual events. However, only three of them can compete for medals, while the other two will fight for ranking points. For mixed team events, each country can have up to two teams, each made up of one male and one female shooter. For all team events, only one team per country is allowed and it should consist of three players.

The European Shotgun Championships 2023 is overseen by the ESC, in collaboration with the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF). The championship began in 1956 and is typically held every two years. In addition to this, there are 2-4 special events every year focused on different shooting disciplines within Europe. Last year, the ESC decided to take away Russia’s privilege to host the European Shooting Championships 2022 in various shooting categories due to the country’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022 in different disciplines like 25m, 50m, 300m, running target, and shotgun events.

How to watch the 2023 edition of the championships?

The European Shotgun Championships 2023 will be streamed live on the official YouTube channel of the European Shooting Confederation, @ESCvideostream. However, it is not known whether the ISSF will telecast the event or not.
