Team United States of America (USA) won the overall championship, bagging eight medals, out of which three were gold.
Host Great Britain concluded their journey with a fourth place finish at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships 2022, also their best-ever medal haul, at the tournament which took place from October 29 to November 6, 2022. Host gymnast Jessica Gadirova clinched the gold medal in the women’s floor in the Liverpool Arena on the last day of the championship. Olympic bronze medalist Artur Davtyan of Armenia scripted history for the country, winning their first-ever gold medal at the Worlds in the men’s vault event. Rhys McClenaghan also claimed Ireland’s maiden gold medal. The last day saw Zou Jingyuan win the men’s parallel bars event, Watanabe Hazuki of Japan in the balancing beam, and Brody Malone of the United States clinch the horizontal bar event.
