Two NBA emerging stars continued to rise in February: Brandon Miller of the Charlotte Hornets in the Eastern Conference and Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference. The two have left fans in awe of their abilities and potential with their incredible performances, earning them the prestigious title of NBA Rookies of the Month.

Western Conference: Victor Wembanyama

Victor Wembanyama delivered an outstanding performance in February, keeping up his blistering pace from January. In 12 games, the forward-center for the San Antonio Spurs showed off his versatility by averaging an incredible 21.3 points, 10.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.9 blocks per game. Wembanyama is currently leading all rookies in the NBA due to his exceptional shot-blocking abilities. Surprisingly, he is one of just six players, all All-Stars, who are averaging more than 20 points and 10 rebounds per game in the current 2023–24 campaign. The story of what a rookie can do is being rewritten by the 7-foot phenom’s influence on both sides of the floor.
