The Portland Trail Blazers will head into their fourth and final NBA Summer League game at the Thomas & Mack Center, where they take on the Houston Rockets on July 14. Both these sides are coming off stunning victories in their previous encounters.
The Trail Blazers were up against a stunning New York Knicks team, who had won their last two games coming into the matchup. However, Portland looked more than determined to register a win. Trendon Watford starred for them as he scored 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds for them. J Walker also had a great game, where he scored 16 points and bagged 13 boards off the bench. Brandon Williams and Keon Johnson also made their presence felt with 10 and 11 points respectively. The Knicks had a great first quarter, where they established a 24-9 lead. However, from thereon, the Trail Blazers took charge and ended up winning with a 88-77 scoreline.
Meanwhile, the Rockets continued their stunning spell with yet another convincing win. They were up against the San Antonio Spurs, who were looking really good in the first half. But the Rockets were not a side that was going to let go off easily. They came focused in the second half and grabbed an emphatic 97-84 win. Tari Eason led the scorers with 22 points and 11 rebounds on 56.2% shooting. The third overall pick, Jabari Smith Jr. finally had a brilliant night, where he scored 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Daishen Nix and Josh Christopher also stepped up and contributed with 18 points each. In the end, the win was a combined effort. They will now be moving into the fourth game in hopes of another win as that will help their cause of moving further in the tournament.

Shaedon Sharpe has reportedly pulled out of the tournament after he suffered a shoulder injury in his debut Summer League game. Other than that there are no serious injuries that have been reported ahead of this hame from both sides.
