The Golden State Warriors will head to the Thomas & Mack Center for an NBA Summer League matchup against the New York Knicks on Friday, July 8. Both teams will be looking to start the Las Vegas leg of the tournament with a stunning win,

The Warriors are coming into the tournament on the back of three consecutive defeats in the California Classic League. One of the biggest positives there for the Dubs was the brilliance of their draft pick Gui Santos. The Brazilian started with a stunning 23-point game against the Sacramento Kings. He then scored 7 points against the Lakers, followed by a 12-point display against the Miami Heat. Santos will be a key part of the Warriors roster. Another important player for the team is going to be Moses Moody. Fresh off winning his first NBA championship, Moody will be coming into the Summer League oozing confidence. He will be looking to turn around the Dubs’ fortunes by leading the way from the front.

Going up against the Warriors will be the New York Knicks. Many were critical of the franchise after their decisions in the Draft. However, they will be looking at keeping all of that noise outside and focusing on their Summer League campaign. Among all the players in the Knicks, all eyes will be on Quentin Grimes. The youngster played for the Knicks in the regular season and impressed with his shooting abilities. He will certainly be looking to put on a show in Las Vegas and fight for a spot in the Knicks lineup.
