The Detroit Pistons will take on the Washington Wizards at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 9. This is going to be Washington’s first game in this year’s NBA Summer League campaign.

Their roster is headlined by the tenth pick in the 2022 draft Johny Davis. The guard from Wisconsin will be hoping to put on a show in his Summer League debut. All eyes will also be on Isaiah Todd and Vernon Carey Jr., both of whom were part of the Wizards roster last season. Undoubtedly, the Wizards would be looking to get off to a winning start, but their opponents are an exciting-looking Pistons side

The team from Motor City is heading into the game on Saturday after a stunning win against the Portland Trail Blazers. Jaden Ivey starred on the night as he scored 20 points while contributing 6 rebounds and 6 assists. He will be looking to continue his good form coming into this game as that will power the Pistons to a win. Another player that will attract a lot of attention during the Summer League is Jalen Duren. The thirteenth pick was brought in via a trade from the New York Knicks. He has high potential and could very well go into the regular season trying to grab a spot in the starting lineup.
