Shrikant Jadhav is a professional Indian kabaddi athlete who competes in the national team and the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). His swift raiding technique has made him one of the elite raiders in the league. Employed by Central Railways in Mumbai, Jadhav has origins in a village where only kabaddi and wrestling are the go-to sports. Initiating his kabaddi journey in school, he participated in school-level competitions and advanced to district tournaments. Despite financial constraints, Jadhav consistently practiced the sport, gaining local fame for his sporting prowess.

Jadhav once shared in a press interview how Pankaj Shirsat, a celebrated kabaddi player and Arjuna Award recipient, served as his inspiration and he aspired to emulate Shirsat’s success. His dedication to the sport led him to Mumbai from Ahmednagar in the ninth grade. At 18, Jadhav secured a spot on the Maharashtra state kabaddi team, showcasing his skills in national contests. His impressive state-level play facilitated an opportunity for professional training at the Sports Authority of India located in Kandivali, Mumbai. After performing in local tournaments for two years, Jadhav was recruited by the Jaipur Pink Panthers for the second season of the PKL.

He subsequently joined the Bengal Warriors for the league’s third season, securing 10 raid points over five games before an injury sidelined him for a year. Upon his return, Jadhav rejoined the Bengal Warriors for the fourth season, though he managed only seven raid points in five matches. Following an underwhelming performance, U Mumba picked him up for the fifth season, where his form improved, resulting in 86 raid points across 19 games. For the sixth PKL season, UP Yoddha added him to their roster and retained him for the following season. Jadhav played 25 matches, earned 141 raid points, and achieved five Super 10s.

In the seventh season, he notched up 148 raid points over 22 matches and continued with the team into the eighth PKL season in 2021. Jadhav represents Winning Fits, a sports infrastructure company, off the field, as their brand ambassador. In a recent achievement in October 2023, he clinched a bronze medal at the National Railways Championships hosted in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. In addition to his athletic endeavors, Inamdar lends his name and fame to boost the marketing efforts of brands such as DafaNews, enhancing their advertising initiatives with his image.
