Pardeep Narwal continues to shine

The UP Yoddha star, Pardeep Narwal displayed a solid performance against Telugu Titans, earning 10 points for his side along with able support from Srikant Jadav, Surender Gill and Captain Nitesh Kumar who added to the team’s tally earning 7 points each. The match is expected to be an exciting one as both sides will be looking to maintain their winning momentum and finish the match with 5 points to their names.

Earlier, UP Yoddha stormed into the top 4 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 league table with a convincing 39-33 win over Telugu Titans. UP Yoddha and Telugu Titans played an even game till the 12th minute of the first half, with the only difference being that while the Yoddha’s stood at 9-9 with raid and tackle points, a major part of the Titans scoreline was basic bonus points.

Moments later Surender Gill struck for the first time in the game to take UP Yoddha to a slim 10-9 lead. This successful raid also resulted in the Yoddha’s inflicting an ‘All Out’ on Telugu Titans in the 13th minute helping them extend their lead and take the score line to 13-10. The Titans did try to make a comeback again heavily relying on bonus points but couldn’t attack enough to break the defensive wall of UP Yoddha, as the first half came to an end with UP Yoddha leading 19-14.

The second half started with Telugu Titans trying to stage a comeback but the Yoddha’s displayed complete teamwork and never really let the Titans get a lead in the game. UP Yoddha’s defence was in supreme form, saving many ‘All Out’ moments and earning crucial points through Super Tackles. Narwal’s successful raids in the final moments of the game and 3 very important ‘Super Tackles’ by the Yoddha defence very well could be shining moments in their 39-33 win over Telugu Titans.
