Sreejesh was born on May 8, 1988, to farmers P. V. Raveendran and Usha in the village of Kizhakkambalam in Kerala’s Ernakulam district.

Goalkeeper and former captain of the Indian national team, Parattu Raveendran Sreejesh plays field hockey professionally in India. He represents the Uttar Pradesh Wizards in the Hockey India League. Sreejesh was a key contributor to the Indian national field hockey team’s bronze-medal performance at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He was named best male goalkeeper in the FIH Player of the Year Awards (2020–21). Sreejesh was born on May 8, 1988, to farmers P. V. Raveendran and Usha in the village of Kizhakkambalam in Kerala’s Ernakulam district. He finished his primary education at Kizhakkambalam’s St. Antony’s Lower Primary School and continued his education there through the sixth grade at St. Joseph’s High School.
He started out as a sprinter when he was younger and later switched to long jump and volleyball. At age 12, he enrolled at Thiruvananthapuram’s GV Raja Sports School. At this point, his coach advised him to learn goalkeeping. After being chosen by hockey coach Jayakumar at the school, he played at the school before competing in the Nehru Cup, at which point he turned professional. He received a history degree from Sree Narayana College in Kollam, Kerala. He received the fourth-highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri, from the Indian government in 2017 for his contributions to the sports industry.
Aneeshya, a former long jumper and an Ayurvedic physician, was Sreejesh’s longtime girlfriend before they got married. Anusree, their daughter, was born in 2014. [22] Sreeansh, his son, was born in 2017. He currently works for the Department of General and Higher Education of the Keralan government as the Chief Sports Organiser. Sreejesh belongs to District 3201 of the Rotary Club of Kizhakkambalam.
Sreejesh was born into a farming family in the village of Kizhakkambalam, Kerala. He owes a great deal of who he is to his parents, P. V. Raveendran and Usha. In 2017, the Indian government presented Shreejesh with the fourth-highest civilian honor, the Padma Shri, in recognition of his toil and efforts while wearing the Indian jersey.
