Two-time champions India will start their campaign in the FIH Hockey Men's Junior World Cup 2023 against the Republic of Korea in Pool C.
The 2023 Men’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup is the 13th edition of the Men’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup. It is a biennial men’s under-21 field hockey world championship organized by the International Hockey Federation. This year’s edition is scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Malaysia National Hockey Stadium. A total of 16 teams are scheduled to take part in the Men’s Junior Hockey World Cup 2023. This includes hosts Malaysia who have qualified automatically and 15 other nations who qualified via the continental championships.
Two-time champions India will start their campaign in the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2023 against the Republic of Korea in Pool C. India is slotted along with teams like Spain and Canada in Pool C. The boy won the Junior Hockey Asia Cup 2023 in Oman earlier this year. Moreover, Team India will be the top-ranked side in Pool C at world No. 3. On the other hand, they will face a hot and cold South Korean side in their opening match. Naturally, it can be said that it will be a relatively easy match for the boys.
