The 2023 Men’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup is the 13th edition of the Men’s FIH Hockey Junior World Cup. It is a biennial men’s under-21 field hockey world championship organized by the International Hockey Federation. This year’s edition is scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Malaysia National Hockey Stadium. A total of 16 teams are scheduled to take part in the Men’s Junior Hockey World Cup 2023. This includes hosts Malaysia who have qualified automatically and 15 other nations who qualified via the continental championships.

Wednesday will see the Belgium take on the New Zealand in the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2023. The Belgian team is currently ranked fifth in the FIH World Junior Hockey rankings. On the other hand, the New Zealand team is ranked thirteenth in the FIH World Junior Hockey rankings. Heading into Wednesday’s match, both teams would like to start on a winning note. Naturally, either of the two teams must start their opening campaign of Pool D with a win.
