The most active coaches or managers in the sport are football managers. The game can be made or changed by a manager’s tactical brilliance. Some managers have entered lists in recent years after having successful seasons, but what does it mean to be the best manager? Last year, managers like Mikel Arteta and Lionel Scaloni made a good impression. Here are the three best performing managers in 2022.

Mikel Arteta

With their team leading the Premier League this season by seven points over Newcastle and eight points over the defending champions Manchester City, Arsenal supporters are celebrating. After taking over the club in 2019, Arteta has urged supporters to have faith in the process, which is now showing results. Under Arsene Wenger’s leadership, the Gunners are attempting to win their first championship since 2003–04. He appointed Martin Odegaard, a young and gifted player, as the new club captain. For three years, from 2016 to 2019, the Spaniard served as Pep Guardiola’s assistant manager. Arsenal has flourished under his management style and is once again a Premier League contender. After 20 years, supporters will be fervently hoping to win the Premier League.

Carlo Ancelotti

With a Champions League and La Liga championship in his trophy case, Carlo Ancelotti is enjoying his second tenure at Real Madrid. The four-time champion of the Champions League does not possess a novel or exceptional tactical approach, but the traditional Italian manager has made Madrid gel in this approach. Under his direction, Vinicius Jr. has improved, and Benzema is currently playing his best football of his career. Ancelotti, who will face Liverpool in the next round of the Champions League, will be aiming to go all in once more. Young people like Rodrygo, Tchouameni, and Camaving are enjoying Carlo’s teaching methods in the Spanish capital, which has created a joyful atmosphere in the dressing room.

Lionel Scaloni

Argentina and the Argentinians have reason to celebrate after their country won the FIFA World Cup 2022. After Jorge Sampaoli was fired for pulling out of the 2018 World Cup, Scaloni was appointed as the interim manager of the national team. The manager’s current contract expires on December 31st, but the Argentine association has promised that he will soon sign a renewal. People had their doubts about him, but by winning three championships this year—the Qatar World Cup, Finalissima, and Copa America—he has put them to rest. His tactical mastery during the World Cup, particularly in the championship game, kept France at bay for the full 70 minutes of play.
