Swansea City’s pre-season preparations are well underway and the latest team to stand in their way is Plymouth Argyle. The friendly on Tuesday at the Home Park will see the Championship team taking on League One side. Both teams experienced contrasting seasons in the recently concluded one. Swansea had one to forget finishing in the bottom half of the campaign, while Plymouth had a memorable one, as they narrowly missed out on a playoff spot.

Swansea fielded a strong side in their last friendly and on Tuesday could give game time to players who missed out on the last clash. New signings Matty Sorinola and Joe Allen could get some minutes on the pitch. They however have to make do without the services of Flynn Downes after the midfielder joined Premier League side West Ham United. Meanwhile, Plymouth Argyle will also look to rotate their squad massively with the club possibly having two different lineups in each half.
