Fantasy Premier League: What is the FPL Team of the Week for Gameweek 4?

The start of Game week 4 in Fantasy Premier League (FPL) was marked by West Ham defeating Luton Town by the score line of 2:1 and it was concluded with Arsenal defeating Manchester United at the Emirates by the score line of 3:1, Rashford opened the scoring for the Red Devils but Arsenal instantly equalized with the help of Martin Odegaard. Arsenal won the game very late, thanks to the goals scored by Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus.

FPL bonus points have now been added for players that earned them. Let’s take a look at the FPL team of the week for Gameweek 4.

Goalkeeper:

Alisson Becker

Liverpool faced Aston Villa at Anfield on Sunday evening and the reds completely outclassed Unai Emery’s men. Liverpool defeated Aston Villa with a score line of 3-0, with the goals being scored by Szoboszlai, Salah and a Cash own goal. Villa had their moments in attack but were denied by Alisson who kept his first clean sheet of the season and scored a total of 8 points, most by any keeper in Gameweek 4.

Defenders:

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Liverpool defeated Aston Villa at Anfield on Sunday evening with a score line of 3-0. The reds completely outclassed Unai Emery’s men with the goals being scored by Szoboszlai, Salah and a Cash own goal. Trent assisted Szoboszlai for the first goal and also kept a cleansheet. He scored a total of 12 points, most by any defender in Gameweek 4.

Kurt Zouma

West Ham defeated Luton Town by the score line of 2:1 and Zouma had a major impact on the game. He scored a very late winner and helped West Ham to earn all three points. Even though he lost his clean sheet but thanks to his goal, Zouma scored 11 points in Gameweek 4. Only a point behind Trent.

Willy Boly

Nottingham Forest got an unexpected win over Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge, Elanga scored the winner and Forest defeated the blues with a tight scoreline of 0-1. Chelsea had their moments but Boly was very hard to beat, he won most of his duels, tackles and he hardly put his foot wrong. He scored a total of 9 points in Gameweek 4, third most by any defender in Gameweek 4.

Midfielders:

Son Heung-min

Tottenham Hotspur got an impressive away win against Burnley with a scoreline of 2-5. Son was the star of the show as he scored a hat-trick and was impossible to handle. Son got impressive 20 points against Burnley, which is the joint most for any player in Gameweek 4.

Billy Gilmour

Brighton & Hove Albion outclassed Newcastle United with an impressive scoreline of 3:1, with Evan Ferguson scoring all three goals for the seagulls. Billy Gilmour bossed the midfield against the magpies and got himself two FPL assists. He scored a total of 11 FPL points and helped Brighton to get a comfortable win against Newcastle United.

Declan Rice

Arsenal defeated Manchester United at the Emirates by the score line of 3:1. Arsenal won the game very late, thanks to the goals scored by Declan Rice and Gabriel Jesus. Declan Rice dominated the midfield and is loving life as a gunner. His performance against Man United earned him 10 points and helped Arsenal to get a crazy win against Manchester United.

Manor Solomon

Tottenham Hotspur got an impressive away win against Burnley with a scoreline of 2-5. Son was the star of the show as he scored a hat-trick and was impossible to handle. Two of Son’s goals were assisted by Solomon, who got his first Premier League start and he did not disappoint. Solomon got himself 10 FPL points which earned him a place in FPL team of the week.

Forwards:

Erling Haaland

Manchester City defeated Fulham with a scoreline of 5:1 and Erling Haaland again was the star of the show. He bagged another Premier League hat-trick and also got himself an assist. He scored a total of 20 FPL points, which is the joint most for any player in Gameweek 4.

Evan Ferguson

Brighton & Hove Albion outclassed Newcastle United with an impressive scoreline of 3:1, with Evan Ferguson scoring all three goals for the seagulls. The 18 year old forward arguably gave his best performance in a Brighton shirt and scored a total of 17 FPL points.

Julian Alvarez

Manchester City defeated Fulham with a scoreline of 5:1 and Julian Alvarez once again showed his importance in this City team. After scoring the opener, he won a penalty for City and got himself a deserving 14 FPL points in Gameweek 4.
