After another round of Fantasy Premier League matches, managers are reflecting on a weekend that brought either frustration or happiness, featuring some expected results, numerous goals, etc. This week offers another chance to regroup, make adjustments to your team, or even use your wildcard to make substantial changes while some in-form players remain relatively affordable. As the Premier League enters its 11th week, here are five players we believe could make an impact.

Eddie Nketiah – Arsenal, forward (5.5m)

If you’re looking to improve your forward line or introduce some variety, Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal might be a wise choice. While not guaranteed to provide points, especially with Gabriel Jesus injured, Nketiah is likely to start, and his recent hat-trick against Sheffield United showcased his quality. At just 5.5m, he’s a low-risk option for a few weeks, especially with Arsenal set to face Burnley and Brentford in November.

Bryan Mbeumo – Brentford, midfielder (6.6m)

This is about taking advantage of a hot streak, though it could backfire. While Bryan Mbeumo has blanked in half of the gameweeks this season, his recent performances against Burnley and Chelsea earned him consistent scores of 14 and 13 points. Brentford faces West Ham, who are coming off three league matches without a win. However, Brentford’s upcoming matches against Liverpool and Arsenal might be too challenging for Mbeumo, despite his recent good form. Bringing him into your team is a risky gamble but could pay off in the short term.

Virgil van Dijk – Liverpool, defender (6.1m)

In the era of costly defenders, there’s one clear choice for stability. Liverpool’s captain, Virgil van Dijk, has played every minute of the Reds’ last five league games and kept clean sheets in his two most recent outings. When it comes to goals conceded, only Man City and Arsenal surpass Liverpool’s nine, and with matches against Luton and Brentford in the upcoming fixtures, Van Dijk appears to be the safest bet for adding points from your defensive line.

Marc Guehi – Crystal Palace, defender (4.5m)

For a more budget-friendly defensive option, consider Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi. Despite a difficult October for the Eagles, Guehi is priced at just 4.5m, making him an attractive selection. Palace’s November fixtures against Burnley, Everton, and Luton are seen as winnable, and they have a solid track record in defending against teams close to them in the table. If Guehi avoids injury, he’s likely to play in every match, making him a solid choice for three potential clean sheets.
