Nottingham Forest have yet again been busy in the summer transfer window. After signing several players during the last summer window, Forest have been once again busy in the current transfer market. They have made several signings across the window, especially during the final days of the market. One of the exciting names to arrive at The City Ground is Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea.

The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal which keeps him at Nottingham Forest until at least 2026. Having already played multiple times for Chelsea, the young winger will be a valuable addition at The City Ground. He has also made his senior England debut already. Going forward this season, Hudson-Odoi will don the number 14 shirt.

“It’s massive for me to be here and I can’t wait to get started. It’s a new chapter for me. I know a couple of the boys already which was a big thing for me, and I obviously know the manager well, so it’s nice to be here and see familiar faces around. Forest is a big club which won two massive trophies in its history and I’m really excited to play at The City Ground. I know all about the atmosphere having watched a couple of times and I can’t wait to get playing in front of the Forest fans,” he was quoted as saying by the club’s website.

Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest’s Chief Football Officer, Ross Wilson, is happy to see him reunite with manager Steve Cooper. “We all know the potential that Callum has shown. He was enthused to work with Steve again, given the relationship they formed with the National Team. We are pleased to welcome Callum to Nottingham today,” he elaborated.

Nicolás Domínguez joins Nottingham Forest

Another exciting player to join Nottingham Forest is midfielder Nicolás Domínguez from Bologna. He has put pen to paper on a five-year deal and the move sees Remo Freuler go in the opposite direction. “It feels amazing to join a club with so much history in England and the Premier League. I watched the game Forest played against Sheffield United, I saw the fans in the stadium and it attracted me. I’m over the moon and keen to embrace this challenge,” the player said.

Having already played a few times for Argentina, the 25-year-old Domínguez will add experience to Forest line-up. Ross Wilson, Forest’s Chief Football Officer, revealed that the midfielder had many offers on the table before he joined Forest. “Nicolas showed a real desire to join Nottingham Forest, amongst the many options that he had. He joins having amassed some excellent experience in Argentina and Italy and we are pleased to see him join today.”
