David Marshall Coulthard is a British former racing driver from Between 1994 and 2008, he competed in 15 Formula One seasons, winning 13 races and finishing on the podium 62 times. Driving for McLaren, he finished second in the 2001 championship. After retiring from Formula One, Coulthard worked as a consultant for Red Bull and then became a commentator and analyst for the BBC’s Formula One coverage. In 2010, he returned to competitive motorsports, joining Mucke Motorsport in the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters), and retiring at the end of 2012. Coulthard has also competed in the Race of Champions, coming in second place in the Drivers’ Cup in 2008 and winning it in 2014 and 2018.

In 2001, his best season, Coulthard scored forty points in the first seven races, including victories in Brazil and Austria. He retired for the first time this season in Canada, as his car encountered engine problems while running in fourth place. Coulthard bounced back from his non-finish with a podium at the Nürburgring and fourth place in France. Coulthard had three more retirements and four more podium finishes in the last seven races, which took place in Hungary, Belgium, the United States, and Japan. Overall, Coulthard finished second in the Drivers’ Championship for the first time in his career, 58 points behind World Champion Michael Schumacher.

Karen Minier began dating Scottish Formula One driver David Coulthard in 2005. Minier gave birth to the couple’s son in Brussels on November 21, 2008. Minier is the father of a child from a prior relationship. On November 27, 2013, the pair married in Monaco.

Minier went to the Free University of Brussels to study journalism before signing with a modelling agency. She hosted the show They have ways of making you talk on Teva in 2005 and interviewed F1 drivers on the French TF1 show F1 in one during the 2003/4 season. In 2005 and 2006, she competed in the Rally du Princess, where she won a stage. She has been co-hosting Children of the Television with Arthur since August 2006. She returned to modelling with the Dominique Models Agency after the birth of her son.
